Croton Batik 4" - Toxic

Crotons (Codiaeum) light up a room with leaves splashed in red, orange, yellow and green. This one is Croton Batik 4".

Difficulty: Intermediate.

Light: Bright, indirect sunlight

Care: Evenly moist in summer, about 1 inch of water per week. Reduce watering in the winter. Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced plant food, and repot one size up when roots crowd the pot.

Size: 4' and 2' wide, if kept as a house plant.

Toxicity: Toxic if eaten — keep out of reach of pets and small children, and wash your hands after handling cut leaves or sap.
