Hoya are slow, steady growers with waxy leaves and, in time, clusters of star-shaped, often fragrant flowers. This one is Hoya Crassipetiolata.
Difficulty: Easy.
Light: Bright, indirect light โ and some direct sun helps trigger the famous waxy flower clusters.
Care: Let the soil dry well between waterings; thick leaves store water. Never cut the short flower spurs (peduncles) โ they rebloom. Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced plant food, and repot one size up when roots crowd the pot.
Size: Vining types trail or climb 3 to 10 feet over time.
Toxicity: Non-toxic โ a safe pick for homes with pets and children.
Grown and hand-checked at our booth โ Booth 801, Oshawa Markets, open Sat & Sun 10โ6. Questions about this plant? Ask us in person or send a DM and we'll help you pick with confidence.
