Description
Philodendron Melinonii Ghost - toxic
New growth emerges in ghostly shades of pale green to creamy white before maturing into a rich, glossy green. The paddle-shaped leaves are thick, leathery, and semi-glossy, arranged in a tight, upright rosette that delivers striking contrast between young and mature foliage. Unlike climbing philodendrons, 'Ghost' holds its shape beautifully without a support structure, making it a bold yet manageable choice for floor pots or statement containers. Named in honour of 19th-century botanist Louis Melinon, the species name melinonii reflects its botanical roots, while the cultivar name ‘Ghost’ nods to its ethereal new leaves.
